Flagship project
Project Unnati
Transforming waste paper into eco-friendly notebooks for underprivileged students, turning discarded pages into opportunities for a brighter future.
- 10,000+kg of paper recycled
- 3,500+notebooks made
- 170+trees saved
- 3,00,000+litres of water saved
Transforming Waste into Opportunity
Every discarded page becomes a new chapter in a child's educational journey. Through Project Unnati, we breathe new life into waste paper by transforming it into eco-friendly notebooks that support the education of underprivileged students.
Why Project Unnati Exists
The Challenge We're Addressing
Educational Inequality: Many children from underprivileged backgrounds lack access to basic educational materials like notebooks and stationery.
Environmental Waste: Tons of paper waste are generated daily in offices and institutions, often ending up in landfills.
Resource Inefficiency: Despite paper being highly recyclable, much of it is wasted instead of being given a second life.
Our Mission
To bridge the educational gap while promoting environmental sustainability by converting waste paper into valuable learning resources for children in need.
How Project Unnati Works
Paper Collection
We organize collection drives at offices, schools, and institutions to gather waste paper that would otherwise be discarded.
- Corporate offices donate used A4 sheets
- Educational institutions contribute old notebooks
- Community members share newspaper and magazines
Paper Processing
Collected paper undergoes sorting, cleaning, and processing to ensure quality and usability for notebook production.
- Quality check and sorting of collected paper
- Removal of staples, clips, and non-paper materials
- Preparation for recycling and notebook binding
Notebook Creation
The processed paper is transformed into functional, eco-friendly notebooks ready for educational use by students.
- Professional binding and cover design
- Quality assurance for durability
- Packaging for distribution
Distribution
Completed notebooks are distributed to underprivileged students through our partner schools and community programs.
- Direct distribution at government schools
- Partnership with NGOs for wider reach
- Follow-up to ensure proper utilization
