Plan your installation ceremony.
What to make, what to send to the printer, and what you must buy from a licensed vendor.
Three to four weeks before
- Fix the date, time and venue, and confirm the chief guest and the installing officer (usually the District Rotaract Representative for a Rotaract club, or the District Governor or their representative for a Rotary club).
- Save the incoming board in the logo studio under Your club team. The installation kit fills the board from it.
- Make the kit and send the invitation PNG on WhatsApp and the A5 PDF to your printer.
Printing
- Every print PDF has a trim size, a bleed and crop marks. Ask the printer to print at the trim size and keep the bleed. The backdrop has 10 mm of bleed, the other files 3 mm.
- The stage backdrop is 12 x 8 ft by default. You can choose a custom size up to about 16 ft a side. The file is vector, so it prints sharp at any size.
- The roll-up standee is 33 x 78 in. The bottom 15 cm sits inside the stand, so it carries only colour.
- Tent cards print two to an A4 sheet. Cut on the long dashes and fold on the short dashes, so each name reads from both sides of the table.
- The lettering in every file is outlined, so the printer needs no fonts.
Collars, pins, flags and banners
Collars, pins, flags, banners and any other item with a Rotary or Rotaract mark must come only from a Rotary International licensed vendor. Order items with Rotary marks from a Rotary International licensed maker. If none offers your item, ask RI Licensing for permission before ordering. The kit makes printed paper and screen files only; it does not make merchandise.
On the day
- Show the welcome slide on the screen as guests arrive. It is 1920 x 1080, which fits most projectors and TVs.
- Keep the club logo whole on everything you add yourself: do not crop, stretch or recolour it. See the logo guide.
Not in the kit
